- A Simple CGI E-Mail Handler
This script uses the mail or sendmail Unix programs and will take the input from a basic form and send it to the correct recipient. It delivers email only to users specified by the maintainer and provides a convenient interface, avoiding the need to step out of Mosaic to send short notes.

The purpose of cgiemail, a CGI program written in C for Unix, is to take the input of WWW forms and convert it to an e-mail format defined by the author of the WWW form, so that the resulting e-mail messages are not difficult to sort through. It requires slightly more work than forms-to-email programs with less flexibility in e-mail format. Nevertheless, users with no programming experience can follow the simple step-by-step instructions in the cgiemail user guide.

MailForm is an easy-to-use CGI program for Windows-based web servers that sends the results of a submitted form as an email message. It is primarily designed for use with an online registration form (and includes the ability to verify that a credit card is a valid number), but can be used for any form. MailForm requires that there be a POP3 mail server accessible from the web server machine.
